Alise Chan is a native of Southern California who has lived in Phoenix since 1995. She studied English and Art History at the University of California, Los Angeles and has had a varied career in the retail, airline and real estate fields.
She is currently a consultant for Private Quarters, a direct sales company specializing in luxury bedding and linens. As a consultant she enjoys showing others how to transform their bedrooms into luxury retreats where they experience more restful sleep in order to be more productive in their own lives.
As a result of owning a home based business Alise has become an avid networker and was so thrilled to discover NAAAPPhoenix she immediately became an editor for their newsletter. She filled in as the interim secretary and has been on the Marketing Committee since its inception.

Born and raised in Shanghai, Frank came to the U.S. in 1991 to pursue an M.S. in civil engineering at Brigham Young University. After his graduation in 1993, he moved to Phoenix and has worked as a land development consulting engineer ever since.
Frank is the Vice President and Office Leader at a national engineering firm. He oversees the company's operation in Phoenix, Chandler and Tucson. He is responsible for staffing, operation, production, marketing, business developing, project and client management. He has succefully lead a team of professionals to complete many multi-million dollar projects throughout the State.
Frank became a member of NAAAP in September 2007 and quickly became involved in many chapter activities, including organizing the Phoenix chapter´s first annual dinner and serving on both the Corporate Sponsorship and Cultural Awareness Committees. As the Director of the Cultural Awareness Committee in 2008, he leaded committee members in organizing events that highlight the differences and similarities between Asian and Western cultures. He aims to raise public awareness of Asian cultures through fun and educative events.
In 2009, Frank became the Director of the newly formed Marketing Committee. He lead the Committee in accomplishing many tasks such as the new NAAAP website, new branding, event flyers, press release, etc. He was also chosen by FBI for the 2009 Citizen's Academy and successfully graduated in May with other 29 classmates.

Kristi has an extensive business background in marketing and retail with more than 20 years of experience. Previous corporate experience includes responsibility for product and marketing decisions for more than 2,300 Albertson's Food and Drug stores in 38 states, and negotiations with national brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Maybelline and Revlon. Her many strengths include her leadership and training abilities, including the capacity to adapt to the four different personality categories most people encounter on a daily basis in their personal and professional lives.
Kristi has helped develop the NAAAP Professional Development program for 2008 & 2009 and helped create the vision for the NAAAP Mentorship Program. She likes to help mentor and coach members and strives to be an inspiration to people she meets.
Kristi is dedicated to serving our members, and is passionate about broadening NAAAP Phoenix’s vision in our community.

Tony works as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist in Scottsdale, AZ. He specializes in interventional spine procedures and non-operative sports medicine. Upon graduating from Dartmouth College, he returned to his home state of Georgia for graduate school and received a Masters of Science in Microbiology from Georgia State University.
He then obtained his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Tony completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Pennsylvania where he served as chief resident for two years. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Board Certified in Pain Medicine.
As the NAAAP-Phoenix Mentorship Director, his goal is to provide an environment that allows both mentors and mentees to improve upon themselves and others. The mentorship program is open to all NAAAP members. Tony encourages anyone who feels that they are ready to take it to the next level or who feels that they want to help other NAAAP members get to that next level to joint the mentorship program.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jason came to the U.S. at an early age. He attended the University of Arizona and received a B.S. in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. As a NAAAP member since 2000 (in San Francisco, New York and Phoenix), Jason’s roles with the organization have included: founding member of the Phoenix/Tucson chapter, 2006 Vice President, 2007 – 2009 President and now a member of the 2010 Board of Directors. As a Board member, Jason leads NAAAP-Phoenix towards becoming the premier professional organization for Asian Americans in the Valley. His goals include encouraging more active participation from members, current and potential, and promoting more collaborative projects and activities with other Asian American community organizations. He aims to create stronger brand recognition for NAAAP in the greater Phoenix area through opportunities for increased professional development, cultural awareness and community participation.
Jason has been a long-time active community member. During his time at the University of Arizona, Jason was the founding director of the Asian Pacific American Student Center and as a senator of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona. He was the recipient of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Distinguish Leadership Award in 1992. Jason also took an active part in Governor Janet Napolitano’s Asian American Advisory Council (2007-2009) and the City of Phoenix Pacific Rim Advisory Council (2006-2007). He served as a national board member (2008-2009) & currently the president of the East Valley Alumni Chapter of the University of Arizona Alumni Association. In addition to his alumni involvement, he is a life member of the FBI Citizen Academy Alumni Association.
Jason is currently the District Manager and Financial Consultant for Waddell & Reed, a firm that offers financial planning services for retirement, investment and insurance needs. He establishes a partnership with clients in order to build a personal financial plan that addresses what they care about most and serves as a foundation for working toward financial independence. His vision is to help individuals work toward achieving their financial aspirations.
